I can't tell from the pics, did you cut an indentation for the end of the coil?

Is that necessary?

Do the "other" spacers have that?

The springs are 4 3/8" outside Dia.
Stock that size should work well, could
probably go to 4 1/2" with no problems

What other material could you use to make coil spacers? Aluminum?

aluminum woudl work, steel pipe with washser welded on then, dirt devil turned his from solid steel on the lathe, but it was costy for the steel,  i decided to use this material because it woudl cut good and realitily cheep

my lug nuts require more torque then my engine makes ;)

ok guys hers the thing, i have decideed im not gonna install thse spacers that i have made i am going to sell them they are 4" wide and the front ones are about 2" high and the rear ones are about 2 1/4" high, the centers are bored out to 2 1/4"

eric if you want this moved to the garage sale let me know

i did soem thinkin last night, decided i didnt want to do another lift on it, im happy how it is now and if i decide in the future to lift it suspension wise im going to get a kit i think

the silver sammy is mine, they use it as a display for there cage work.
