99 Tracker Bent rear axle-Easy swap options?

99 Tracker Bent rear axle-Easy swap options?

My friend just bought a 99 tracker with a bent rr axle housing.  Will an older tracker (90-98) work if we were to swap the center section over? (I do know the gears are different)  Thanks ahead of time for the info!

whats different , as i thoguht the 4u2 and such like had different R&ps but casing the same????

4u2 has the same axle and R&Ps but I think they mean a GV shape Tracker.
