AMERICAN SUZUKI RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS
PLATINUM MARCOM CREATIVE AWARD

Suzuki’s XL7 and SX4 Web-based training courses recognized for excellence

BREA, Calif. -- (December 12, 2006) – American Suzuki today announced it has been honored with a Platinum MarCom Creative Award for its 2007 XL7 New Model Launch Web-based training courses. In addition, Suzuki was also awarded an honorable mention for its 2007 SX4 New Model Launch Web-based training courses.  American Suzuki teamed for the first time with Pacific Technology Solutions to develop and implement the new model training courses, which include content for dealership sales personnel, service managers and service advisors, greeters, cashiers, operators, receptionists as well as service technicians.

The new training courses were developed by a team of seven managers in service, technical training and sales with a joint vision to bring synergy and consistency to the entire curriculum. Suzuki’s Web-based course design eliminated redundancies and reduced cost, while increasing curriculum quality.

“With record-setting sales and growing brand awareness in the United States, American Suzuki is gaining real credibility as a company to watch, said Koichi Suzuki, president of American Suzuki’s Automotive Operations, “It’s tremendous to be recognized with an award for the development of a training tool to empower our dealership employees.

The announcement marks the first time American Suzuki has received recognition from MarCom Creative Awards, which are sponsored by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals and judged by industry professionals. This year there were more than 5,000 entries from throughout the United States and several foreign countries, and winners were selected from more than 200 categories in seven forms of media and communications efforts.  American Suzuki was the only import automotive winner in its category.

The MarCom Creative Awards are designed to evaluate work solely on its own merit, and the competition rewards companies and individuals with the highest standard for excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.  For more information on the MarCom Creative Awards, visit www.marcomawards.com.

Will Hell ever freeze over? >:(

I absolutely HATE ASMC now.  If it wasn't for the smokin' deal the dealer gave me, I would not have purchased my new 2006 Suzuki King Quad 700.  yeah, I own another new Zook. >:D

Mark my words, that will be the past dollar ASMC gets from me, ever.  Well, except maybe parts.  But that's it.

Frankly, I wish ASMC goes under.

Actually, I'll go one further.  I'm getting ready to, maybe, buy a 2007 4-dr Rubicon.  Yup, that's right, you read it here.  Yankee Tim will buy and own a new Jeep.

Why?

BECAUSE THEY WANT MY BUSINESS!!!  I watched an infomercial on Direct TV for the new Roob.  Shows 2 couples on a camping trip, WHEELING IN THE ROCKS!!!  Lockers, gears, diffs slamming rocks, the whole shibang.  D/C noticed the market trend of the 30-somethings (GenXers) and are making trucks to fit the bill.

Suzstupid Motors wouldn't even rebadge the Daewoo 4x4 for us.  Instead, they made the GV and Xl even more wimpy, with no hopes of a true 4x4.

Fu(kum, if they don't want my money anymore.  Jeep will be happy to take it from me.  I'll still keep my other Zooks till I lose interest in them, and then move on.

Merry Christmas, Mike! ;D
