Someone complimented my geo
« on: December 19, 2006, 01:53:43 PM »
I parked my geo in the safeway parking lot and someone told me my geo is a good car. He then told me he had the 1989 1.3 liter sidekick. When I asked him what happened to it, and he said someone stole it. I didnt know people would steal the sidekick/tracker. I had always thought stealing one of these was like stealing a metro or something. I never thought that thieves cared enough about these to steal them.
Runnin' it stock with 225/75R15s and an unmodified 8valve TBI motor (I need a doug thoroley header and a cam) (more power) (1.6 liters of madness) (vroom + sewing machine sounds)

Its not that people regard them as being such a desirable vehicle...  ...They steal them because they are so da(m)n easy.

Back in the early '90's there was a period of time that the Hyundai Excel was the most often stolen car in Kalifornia for the same reason.

 >:(  Someone stole a friend's 93 Tracker (Mystic Magenta) and when the cop's recovered it -- it was repainted black and lowered 3inches.....needless to say the indidviduals destroyed it.  Was not professionally done.  spray cans and two-bit mechanical work.
