2.7L oil capacity?

2.7L oil capacity?

Just wondering what the 2.7L's oil capacity is?

We just bought the 2002 and my first priority is a WIX filter and Mobil 1 5w30.  Just need to know how much as it didn't come with an owner's manual.

you'll need 6qt's to full it.

So it's 6qts and not 5.8qts like the 2.5L?

here's the capacities from my (2001) owner's manual

coolant - 8.2L (17.3 US pt)
fuel tank - 64L (16.9 US gal)
engine oil (replaced with filter) - 5.5 L (5.8 US qt)
MT fluid - 2.7L (5.7 US pt)
AT fluid - 2.5L (5.3 US pt)
front diff - 1.0L (2.1 US pt)
rear diff - 2.5L (5.3 US pt)
4WD transfer case - 1.7L (3.6 US pt)

I know it's not good to overfill, but I just go for the full 6 pack ;D

2.5 and 2.7 say 5.8US qt. But I just dump in the full 6qt.
