Starting the rear bumper next weekend...thoughts?
« on: January 01, 2007, 10:19:03 AM »
This is the plan for next weekend....any thoughts or opinions before I start?

Note: I will also be raising the gas tank and removeing the bolt on reciever hitch. Do I need the factory gas tank bar or can I do away with it since I'm raising the tank? I will also be putting a skidplate in front of it. Just for the record, it is not my design..I'm copying one I saw that I really liked.

Looks pretty good, i have no clue about the gas tank info (sorry about that)
But i like the design of that too. Looks very cool, also like the swinging tire and hi lift option.

If you're rasing the tank, you shouldn't need the tank saver anymore, because of the cross member that's there.
Maybe run a flat plate across the frame rails under the tank to protect the bottom too.
