I just installed a Lock-Right locker in the rear of my '97 Sidekick Sport, and it's not acting quite right. It's a 1510 model, which Trail Tough assured me would work if I reused my old spider gear & pinion shafts. I notice that Trackers call for a 1512 model. What's different? When I turn sharply, such as pulling into of a driveway, or turning into a gas station, it groans loudly, and the whole vehicle shudders. This thing is Loud & scary! I know that Lock-Right recommends turning under throttle, but that's not always achievable. It feels like it's not unlocking, and I don't hear the "clicking" noise that it should have. I had a EZ Locker in a Samurai I used to own, and it never did this. It would just "click-click-click" when turning . This has me wondering if I'm going to bust an axle. Is this normal in an Automatic equipped vehicle?
