Trailering help!!
« on: January 06, 2007, 01:58:14 PM »
How heavy is a samurai??
I'm about to buy one and was wondering how big of a trailer to get.  Will a single axle work if I have to??

Thanks

A stock sammie is about 2100 lbs. you will need at least a ten foot trailer, I have seen them in the back of a pick up truck with the back tires just sitting on the tail gate.

I have hauled one on a single axle 3500 pound trailer. trailer weighed 1300 pounds and was a 12 ft trailer.
I'm looking at getting a 16 foot 7000# dual axle trailer to haul mine around in.

It's not a Jeep thing, it's not a Suzuki thing, or a Chevy,Ford thing.
It's a wheeling thing now get out and do it!
