I'm running a 2 door and the lift wasn't too bad, I've done my friends as well since then. I did use Sky's 1.5" coil spacers and strut extensions instead of the jeep ones as mentioned but either way is fine I'm sure. I didn't want too much stress on the CV's.
Have a welder handy to extend the shifters and possibly the steering shaft. I think the hardest part for me was getting all the bumpers off and trim around the headlights, everything up here gets rusted pretty good with the salt on the roads in the winter. The lift itself was straight forward. I would recommend doing it yourself if you can, that way you'll know it was done properly and you'll get to know your rig much better. Everyone here will help along if you have any snags. Plan for a full days work your first time doing it, nothing ever goes as smoothly as planned.
With just the budget lift true 31" tires is all you can really run. I've also now cut all my wheel wells back because I'd like to go bigger soon, I may do the SAS but still haven't decided really. I also have the rocker guards in (cut out the rockers and welded in square tube) per Diggers instructions on the site here.
You'll be very happy with the 31" tires and the budget lift, I think it's the most bang for your buck and it runs good on the trails.
