You can run a Kicker 3 type setup (a trackick tranny and tcase mated to a samurai tcase).  You don't have to run a 1.6 engine to run a trackick tranny.  You can use what they call "lucky 13" adapters to mate the trackick tranny to the 1.3 engine.  If you find some pics of the "lucky 13" adapters, you will see they are easy to make.  To make mine, I used some 1/4" flat steel and some heavywall 1/2" ID tubing/pipe.
If you buy everything for a K3 setup, it will run you over $500 (and that doesn't include buying a trackick tranny and tcase).  My K3 setup cost under $300 TOTAL, but I made/done everything myself (except for welding the trackick tcase ($90)), and found a good deal on the trackick tranny and tcase.

But for less $$ than a K3, (unless you are good at fabbing and finding deals), you can just put in lower tcase gears in the single samurai tcase.  4:1 tcase gears will run about $400 and you can install them yourself with some basic tools.

Personally, I would not recommend trying to add another samurai tcase, in front of the original samurai case....the added in case has to be turned on its side, then there is shifting issues, issues with the tcases hanging down low (reducing ground clearance), etc.
Tracker and Sidekick parts for sale.....PM me with your wants/needs.

Just buy a set of crawler gears from one of the many fine Aftermarket vendors. You won't look back. FWIW: there have been people that have merged Samurai t-cases before with various amounts of success. In my estimation it's too much work for too little gained. Plus the possibility of reduced driveability if something is out of align or malenginered.
