any ideas on personalised plates?
« on: January 01, 2005, 11:02:54 PM »
i'm thinking about getting some personnalised plates.

well, i've been thinking about it ever since i painted it green, which was a year ago. trying to think of something good to put on/name my Vit.

oh yeah, it can have up to 7 letters or numbers, and it will be a white plate with black letters.

theres already some i came up with/been told.

KERMIT (someones already got it, in AUS, not where i live)

JURASIK / JURASIC (jurassic park......the movie....)

SIKID / SIK-KID (username)

SIK-KIK / SIKICK (US version of Vit)

BOOGA (green stuff in your nose)

BULFRG (bull frog....)

i was also thinking about subbing letters for numbers, like the letter I for number 1 and so on, instead of E try 3? sorta thing, anyway, a year later, i'm still trying to find a good plate name.

any suggestions and or ideas?

and i should mention that this will all be public info and if i do decide to use your 'suggestion' you will not win/own anything. just to be safe.

thanks
Steve

I'm known as Digger just about everywhere on the web, so it was a natural choice. Plus, if I get to go to gonzukkin this year, it will act as a sort of nametag...LOL! I say use your username!

I've got this one on the Chevy:

Not a legal plate as we do not have personalized plates in the Netherlands, they are issued in numerical/alphabetical order.
I had this one made by a British Company but they dont seem to exist anymore.

Any good reliable addresses for having one of these "vanityplates" made that ship abroad ?
I ordered one from an American Company, mailed them exaclty what I wanted for the Sammi, but they totally fucked up, making all the lettering equally big instead of the smaller upper and lower line. I'd expect them to know what an American licenseplate is supposed to look like  :-/

I want one that reads:

"Pavement sucks!" in small letters in the upper line
"FUNZILLA" in big letters in the main line
"Got Mud ?" in small letters in the bottom line

White face, black letters, all capitals and of course without the " marks ;)

As always, any help is appreciated !

In the Province of Ontario, there is a review team that goes through each and every personal plate request and reviews them for any such vulgar or sexual content.  I have my eye on 666 NOTB or NOTB 666.

Yeah we have the same here, I tried to get MUDFKR and nearly got away with it until they worked out what it meant. I told them it stood for Mud for Car but they said what happens if you say it fast ? I acted dumb like I couldn't work it out until the woman finally blurted out
"MUDFU*KER"  ;D  I just said Oh I never thought of it that way  ;)

Needless to say I never got it
