tranny and breaks problem
« on: January 31, 2007, 09:46:24 AM »
i have 2 problems. one: when it is cold out (like -15 C) or colder and it sits for atleats 5 hours it wont shift. as in it'll start, idle fine. gointo drive fine but no matter what i do when i hit the gas it says in first and justs revs like S#%T untill it warms up down the road. 2) only when my car sits over night my breaks feel like they hvae froze up. i have to use 2 feet to stop the car of i'm going into myneibours ditch. there new breaks as of this summer(rotors, pads, and calipers) and  i knwo they were bled properly. any sugestions?

my brakes get really stiff overnight and the first time or two braking, they barely depress at all (but when you force it a bit, the wheels lock up like its nothing, its crazy)  Becomes normal after a few braking areas.

Tranny wise, im not sure.  Mine doesnt like shifting when its really cold and just starting.  It goes the point it usually shifts and goes reeeeeee and holds back a bit, THEN shifts.  Doesnt seem to be a problem, its just very cold i think.

Sounds like the master cylinder on the brakes. If it's an auto. check the fluid or change it.
when in doubt gas it!!
