Help! Broken steering chassis mount

Hi guys,

I have a 1993 sidekick and the recirculating ball type steering chassis mount  is broken. Has anyone here similar experience on that?

How can I reinforce this area of the chassis?

Mine broke away from the frame at one point.  I'll have to take pictures of the weld job that fixed it.  I didn't do it so I don't know the particulars but I'll be more than happy to snaps some pictures this weekend and post them.
