Changing over to Synthetic
« on: January 02, 2005, 09:33:06 PM »
If I want to change over to synthetic what weight do I need to use? I'm pretty sure I have 10w30 in it now but  I can't remember if I put in 10 or 5

I have 77K on my 2.0L

What else should be changed and looked at for my 75K checkup? I know I'm a little late. :-[

You should use 5W30.  Once it has had a chance to really work in, check for leaks.  I had a few leaks when I first switched over, but then it stopped.
