New Member with questions on fuel pump options
« on: March 01, 2007, 03:05:44 PM »
Hello,
Just discovered this forum.  I have a 1990 samurai JL EFI with a bad fuel pump.  The heads on the mounting screws where the fuel pump assembly mounts to the tank are rusted and stripped beyond use.  My question is, is it possible to mount an aftermarket inline pump on the fuel line without removing the in tank assembly?  If so, any ideas on psi/manufacturer etc?
Thanks in advance,
Ed
