does anyone have a used but working computer for a 91 kick 5spd 8v? or know where i can get one?

i called hawk they seem to have a good deal on rebuilding mine and checking if it is acctually broken. but if i can get it cheaper i would like to.

also how do i make sure mine is the same. i know some things on the things vary from year to year

Just double check your numbers? There is a sticker on it and will show just like I wrote the numbers off of mine.

This one was pulled from a vehicle that had been wrecked and the engine was complete, so I would suppose that it is good but I cannot gaurantee since I do not have a 8v vehicle right now to try it out on.

Are you sure yours is toast?

If so then buy this one and I will send it to you. If it does not work send it back. Just keep the box and cut along the tape. Then all you would have to do is reseal the box and write return to sender.

sounds good but honestly i dont know if mine is the problem or not. i have just tried so many other things it doesnt seem to be anything else.

and im not sure how to check it myself. i dont really trust any shops around here to work on it since they all seem to be ripoff artists
