I'm thinking about reeming out my knuckles and putting my steering arms uptop the knuckles. In theory this would help. Any comments would help. I think Mike has this setup.

For the best driveabality, the tie rods need to be at the same angle that the lower control are is at.  If you change that angle you will get pump steer when you are driving down the road.

And yes, Mike has done this.  He was swoping them back and forth from trail to road.

Last I read he just leaves them on the top and has learn to deal with the bump stear.

If you do a search you might be able to find a couple of the threads that mention this.  Or Mike him self might anser you.

Yes I do have my tie rods flipped on top. However I have other mods done to make this possible without bumpsteer.
Long story short I cut the brackets that hold the lower control arms and dropped them 1.5 inches. This keeps the tie rods parallel with the control arms. Them I added 1.75 inch coil spring spacers to turn it into a 5 inch lift. Does that make sense? Anyways if you do the flip without doing the other stuff I did it will feel a little bit wandery and have a little bit of bump steer.Not very desirable for street. However it will wheel better offroad.
