Cliffs Insane Terrain 4/28
« on: April 23, 2007, 06:33:52 AM »
Hey if anybody wants to come down on the 28th we'll have a small group of zukers going down to have some fun . It was nice and dry on the 22 so it should be real fun on the 28th.Steve has been putting alot of time in on trail 1 making it possible to get stockers all the way around without getting stuck too much.

Hey have fun at the badlands .That might be more fun, seeing how we've had nearly 4"of rain in 2 days and hasn't stopped. how many do you have going ?

Wouldn't that make the trails even more fun?

Had a blast ;D ;D ;D.There were 3 of us(Branden,Zuki,29"SS,Jay,Kicker 235/75 MTs and me)and we met some suzi's from Wisc.We started the day off by doing a couple of recoveries for the park.we had to go and get a newbee FJ owner out of a sticky situation(body damage ).Jay is now the FJ recovery veh.then it was on to trail 21 were a Jeep was flopped on its side . Branden got to put the strap on him .Then we got to go have some fun of uor own.Branden andJay had never been on trail 44 so we decided we would go down it and not up it that whole gravity thing you know.It turned out we made the smart choice because the 4"of rain we had on wed and thurs cut some big holes in that trail.Branden and Jay were learning alot about spotting and driving, seeing how most of the time they only had 3 tires on the ground.Suprisingly we only had to stack a few rocks here and there .they were doing fantastic .awesome driving on there parts. The only time we had a problem was at the end were there has arock in the middle of the trail that use to stick out of the ground maybe a foot and a half now it is completely xposed with a 3 1/2 foot hole on the back side of it and there is ledges on both sides .Needless to say the rock gaurds and skids got a work out.Branden actually made it his first try .Jay got hung up  ;D ;Dout came the highlift and on our way we want . Once again Branden and Jay awesome driving.

Hey zukinator how is trail 21 doing? Our club built that trail and we have not been on it in about a year. Where did the guy roll at? We have pics that show us cutting the trail at www.offlimits4wd.com. The cliffs are a blast and we should be going down there soon. If you ever want to join us we usaully go down for a night run on sat nights and then wheel sun.....Bryan
