Hello all,

I have a 95 2 door with 4wd. All four wheels have new brakes and new front rotors. When I took the calipers off, I found that on both front wheels the lower slider pins on the caliper mounting brackets were frozen. I took them apart cleaned them and replaced them. The brakes were fine for a day or two. When they started acting up again, I figured that the pins must have been frozen again. But when I took the calipers off this time the sliders weren't frozen. Im not sure what the problem is. There is a ticking noise comming from one of the wheels, (I think) does that mean the there may be a bad bearing? Would a bad bearing make the brakes pulsate? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The caliper itself may not be good.  You could try flushing the brake fluid also. 

If the caliper was sticking at all, you could have possibly warped a brake rotor. That would account for the pulsating. Ticking could be a bearing, or a guide spring in the caliper out of place.

Inspect the rotor closely, too. The ticking could also be a cracked rotor...

The rotors are brand new. it seems that they pulsate when the brakes get hot. Also it seems that the ticking only happens when i press the accelerator down. Any ideas what the ticking would be from?
