If money wasn't an issue I'd be designing a front end around this differential housing.



It houses a Ford 9" third and can be ordered with either CV flanges or U-Joint flanges.  The price list for this housing showed $1650.00

Well I guess it won't happen on my salary.  Sure would be cool though.

I'd design front AND rear around it, and give the old Tracker 4 wheel independant suspension.


While we are at it, incorporate 4 wheel steering, and for kicks.... custom portal axles too

All kidding aside, I have really kicked around the idea of a "Star" type Tracker, with anvil cases at both ends, encorporating 4 wheel steering (hydro in back) and 4 wheel independant suspention.  Might not make the worlds best crawler, but I think it would be damn near unstoppable on tight twisty trails

uhhmmmm   4 whell steering  (drooling icon here)  cant i just put a front end in  the back end of my zuk, and just add power sterring, and voila    would e nice though, i can make denali trucks jelouse for once
