Who does a good quality replacement Kick/Tracker soft top? I would prefer one with the zip out side windows too.

Best tops makes the best. They are kind of pricey though. Pavement Ends and Rugged Ridge are some of the less expensive.

Best top sunport with zip out sides and ability to run as a bikini top is 369.00. I have one but it needs a rear window replacement so I got another top for know.

I have a Bestop with the zip out side windows, it was the OE fitment on mine. A bit time consuming to put up and down but its nice to be able to drive with the top up and the windows out sometimes. On a long drive you can get too much sun (when it appears over here, lol) with the top down all the way. Have to be careful these days.

I see that there are listings for '88-'94 and '95-'98. What's the difference? I had an early model years ago and I just bought a '98 on the weekend and I can't see what is different.

The way the top fastens at the tailgate, the way the windows attach to the body, the newer has an additional bar across the back and that's all I can think of at the moment!  ;D

If anyone can post some pics so I can compare that would be great. Maybe there are different mountings for the different markets. I don't want to order a top and have it shipped to OZ to find out it's the wrong one.

No pics but maybe this will help.  Its a link to the Bestop installation guides.  Scroll down the list to find the "Replace-a-top for Chevy / Geo Trackers . . ."  installation guides for the two different models and compare.

I almost jumped out of my chair once I saw this answer. This answers my question then because I was getting ready to ask this question to. I have a 92 Tracker and I have some nice stereo equipment in there and my back window was cut. I knew somebody in my area with a Tracker and I asked them if they had any extra rear windows and they did but it didnt fit right. Now I know why theres was a newer model than mine. Im sooo pumped now you have no idea lol I have had a slashed rear window for almost 6 months now and I couldnt figure anything out. I love this website lol. Im going to stop rambling on now and go to sleep for some awesome school tomorrow. 5 more days and I graduate!

Well it looks like we never got the later style top and mounting system so it's either the full one piece style or the Bestop Sunsport modular setup if I want removable side windows. How good do they fit compared to the original Factory tops?

I have a Best Top one on mine and the fit is perfect. Mine is also the older one-piece design and I figured out an easy way to run top up with no side windows without cutting. I will unzip the back window and roll it to the outside so it will sit between the spare tire and tailgate while still clipped to the tail gate. Then I will take the sides loose from their frames and roll them up to the inside. The front end of the roll gets held up by the targa bar, the rear end of the roll lays back over and just inside the rear top hoop and is held in place by a velcro strap. I have wheeled hard and they have never come loose and it doesn't hurt the windows at all. Here's what it looks like:

And here's what it has held up to:

Had a cool sig pic till I changed the text... sigh...

my $.02 . . .
I would only buy another Bestop if I wanted the Sunport option.  Otherwise, I'd purchase another Pavement Ends.  I replaced my factory top with a new Bestop and the fit was not great.  There was a snap in the wrong place that I had to fix as well.  But I seem to be the exception to the rule as most report good luck with the Bestops.  I've bought a new Pavement Ends top and it is just as good (or better in my case) as the Bestop.  I've only had the Pavement Ends top for a couple of winters so I can't atest to its long term durability.  The Sunport is my favorite because it converts over to just the bikini top without having to change out the whole thing!  It has all the options!!

I have had a ouland(smittybuilt) and a bestop both didn;t fit right the outland was to tight and the bestop is too loose. the tight one is on my 93 and it started to com apart at the seams but its ok i got a warrenty and this one fits perfect. the best top is on my 95 and the windows are harder than hell to get out.

Where can you find the Outland soft top at online because that is what I have and I cant find it anywhere. I need a new rear window thats why I ask.
