So as I am driving home from work(Willsonville-Salem) on friday the lil sammy starts slowing down and smoking. I pull off at Keizer exit and have it towed home. I used to work for BC towing so I got a good deal. anyway I tore her apart today to find #2 rings are toast. I guess I know what I am doing the next couple weekends.

. I know the feeling. I burned up the almost worn out clutch that came with the jdm motor, and spent from friday night to 9:00 sunday morning replacing the clutch, so I could drive to work on monday

. My whole weekend was ruined. But now its the other way around, as I dont have a job, weekends mean nothing, and no one will hire me(its like I have a black cloud floating over my head and it discourages employers)

Runnin' it stock with 225/75R15s and an unmodified 8valve TBI motor (I need a doug thoroley header and a cam) (more power) (1.6 liters of madness) (vroom + sewing machine sounds)

I thought you were running a 1.3 and thought that a 1.6 8 valve would be a good quick fix (with an adaptor plate) if it were your only vehicle. But the 1.6 16 valve makes a lot more power than the 8 valve, so it wouldnt make sense to go backwards now would it?

Isn't my only car was just one of my only 2 running at this point. It's all good, a good freind let me borrow his little sammy with a 16v for as long as I need. I am gonna rebuild the motor in the next couple weekends and look for a truck at the same time.
