Hello all , I picked up this 1987 rust free JX Suzuki a few months ago. My plan was to make a daily driver and trail rider. I lifted it 2" added BFG AT 235-75-15 tires, header 2.5 exhaust with turbo muffler, weber carb, moved front bumper 1.5'' forward and removed end caps, removed rear bumper, added a steel rear bumper and LED tail lights. I had to install a reducer(2.5-1.25) in the tail pipe to pick up some back pressure. She will cruise 55 mph no problem and tops at about 63 mph.

Sometimes I forgot how clean a Samurai can look.  :)

How do you open your tailgate with the lights like that?

Yea, I removed for the outside latch for the lights. I just open it from the inside release.

Judging from the palm tree in the second picture, that Sammie ain't from Ohio! Nice job!
