I run 1" coil spacers and a 2" body lift and clear 31" swampers. Doing a body lift is definately the most cost-effective way of adding tire clearance, and taller tires make the whole rig taller... The cheapest I could find a 2" suspension lift was used for $250. I did my 2" body lift for free with scrap metal I had laying around...
Had a cool sig pic till I changed the text... sigh...

I have about a 2" spacer lift for about 125, and the cam bolts (from e-bay) where like 30 or so. with some trimmin, I'm hoping to clear 32's.

Building strut spacers tomorrow (2, 2.5" header flanges and the thickest metal fence posting I can find in 2.5" dia), and then a 2" spacer for the rear balljoint in the rear upper a-arm for the 3 link rear susp. Then longer shocks in the rear.  ;D

If I were to go with a 3" body lift, and some 31X10.5X15's, would I have to monkey with engine,(new cam) or would my 1.6 be able to power it?

1.6 would be able to power it fine.

my lug nuts require more torque then my engine makes ;)

Rocky Road has 1"1/8" coil spacers for $76 +S&H
and they have 2" body lift for $119+ S&H

I have em both and the coil spacers are alot easier to install, 1-2 hours compared to 4-5 for the body lift.

Course it would be faster if their directions didn't suck.

If you do the body lift see my directions here on the Zuwharrie BBS

Yes, I know, time for bigger tires now...(just got the body lift on a few weeks ago)

Once I put on my 31's, I noticed a little more pinging under load, but better quality gas made all the pinging go away, even the noise I had BEFORE the 31's! The 1.6 can drive 31's just fine, but don't expect as much acceleration as you had with stock tires.

4door coils work well too, but once they were installed we could only get the spacers in the rear, looks kinda cool anyway
i think a metal shop could maybe ??? cut some spacers for you if the right size and thickness piping exists... my friend got all 4 made for $40.. not sure where at
