I finally got enough time to get my 1.5 spring spacer lift on.  All I have left is the fender/bumper trimming.  I have decided if I am going to install the body lift or not.  Either way it pass inspection with the 31's hanging out as far as they do.

I really should have read that post before posting.  I meant to say it won't pass inspection and I haven't decided yet to put the body lift on or not.  What's the consensus on bodylift or not?

I wouldnt put a body lift on it my life depended on it...
But thats just me talking, not to big a fan of them.

Do you need the body lift? Is it going to gain you anything, other than less trimming?

wow, it fit the 31s with just the 1.5in spacer lift?

any chance to get a pic from the side to see how much you had to cut?

 it looks good get a set of flex flares from jc witney to cover the over hange to get through inspection. they will mount to the side and give you enough to cover the wheels.
 
in Ohio a long time ago we had to have the wheels completly covered too. thankfully things have changed

I am in Japan on the island of Okinawa, and the Japanese don't like mods.  I will put the stock wheels back on for inspection and be just fine.  Besides I want to throw mud everywhere.

If you don't need the bodylift then there doesn't seem much point in fitting one, the frame will still be just as low. It will also affect the C of G and won't be so nice to drive. I do agree on having some sort of fender extension though, 'sticky out ' tyres through stuff all up the side of the bodywork, into the interior if the window is open and into your face when you stick your head out to see what the front wheel is caught up on. Looks like you neeed to do some camber correction too.

Just go to the alignment shop and get them to do it. It may cost a bit more but at least it's done right.
