Shrockworks Rock Sliders for Samurai
« on: July 10, 2007, 12:12:15 PM »
My samurai got t-boned and I got a replacement door however the bottom panel was smashed in.  The bottom panel was already in bad shape due to rust and I was going to get some rock sliders anyways.  The payoff from the accident just gives me extra money to buy them now.

So my question is who has the shrockworks rock sliders on their samurai and how do you like them?
Ease of installation?  Quality of craftsmanship and materials?  Durability after use?
Can you post any pictures?

I’d like to order them ASAP pending your answers, as the current lead time is 5 weeks.

Thank you.

Eric, thanks for the link.  I had already seen that write up and followed it remove the panels.

So no one is running these rock sliders?

There is more kicks here then Zuks from what I have seen so your question is a little mute. As for Jim's sliders and bumpers, they are the best you will find for fit and finish. If you were to ask this question on the zu or pitate you would heve been inendated by responces of go direct to Jim at Shrockworks

you say less sammies like its a bad thing.   We sammy drivers are still die hard zuk fans too.
as for the rock sliders, I dont own any yet, but if they are like the bumpers they manufacture they will be the best.  I got  the bumpers after a rush hour traffic accident destroyed the tin can bumpers, insurance paid for 'em and I have been thrilled with the look and quality.
I would say go for it!

I know Shrockworks makes some nice quality parts, but I just cant afford them all.
I did pull the trigger on the sliders though.  My 5 week wait is on.
BTW, I thought there is quite a few samurai owners here.

Yeah thats a shame, I guess the Sammy stuff keeps you busy enough. I couldn't afford the shipping anyway, lol. I've always thought that this board was more biased towards the Track/Kicks but it seems that there have been a lot of Sammy/SJs appearing of late. I even have an SJ413K myself  ;D
