hey. I have an 86 Sammy with a 91 Tracker engine swap.... if i bought an automatic tracker tranny would i be able to stick it in there in the samurai no problem???

Unlikely, the Tracker engine is most probably mated to the original Samurai gearbox. The boxes are very different, the Track/Kick has the tcase mounted on the back of the box. The Sammy has a divorced tcase.

Yeah, it depends on how the swap was done.  If there is a 2wd manual sidekick trans with a jump shaft to the sami t-case then you could possibly put the sidekick 2wd auto in.  It is more likely (as earlier noted) that there is an adapter between the sidekick engine and sami trans.  If you do the swap prepare for a body lift or "massaging" the transmission hump to fit the trans.  Godd luck!
