Guess I'll have to go back there with some heavier tools, winch it over onto it's roof and scavenge some spares. At least give the poor thing a chance to be an organ donor! LOL!
Had a cool sig pic till I changed the text... sigh...

Ya, I want to save every one I
find in the wrecking yards, if I
had a South 40 I'd have a Suzuki
only wrecking yard, and salvage
the good spare parts.

Thats probably a stolen/hotwired Tracker, dumped and burned so no fingerprints could be lifted. No lift, so it looks like maybe whoever the thief was had no business out there, except to dump it, just my guess. There wasn't a dead hookers skeleton in it was there?  :P

I really like that quagmyer pic. Story should be stated that you drove right out of it with the new tires. Got a wider pic of the situation?

Are you the only one with a camera on the trip?

No, no skeletons... ;)

Actually most pics were taken by either me or my son, we each had a camera along. The other two guys didn't have any digital cameras, just one 35mm between them.

Actually the quagmire shot has a little story to it. It's at the apex of a short "U" shaped side trail just off the main trail. The two sammys went through it just playing around, and I followed not being one to shy away from a challenge unless it looked too bad. There was a skinny stump sticking up that I had to go around coming into the bog and that had me lined up into the hole without knowing. Neither sammy could get to me to do a straight pull...

looks like a fun trail to run on. Thats like what the wheelin around here is like. But there is no real places to go anymore cause all the treehuggers closed them down. Its too bad really. There isn't even a 4x4 club anymore..... :'(

Digger,

Cools pics look like the boys had some fun  ;D

But you missed out some important rules of wheeling....

1) ALWAYS take tools lots of em !! I would of had the axles, R&Ps and any thing else that looked usable out in an instance  with the tools I carry  ;D

2) A chainsaw is a tool too !! A must have for wheeling in the woods. No trees guna stop me not even this one we cut thru with a 16' bar and using our winches to pull the bits off  :)

Of course you should never cut live trees down (before I get a sticks and tweeters lecture ;D)

' or " you know what I meant Wild  ;D

Althou a saw with a 16' bar would be handy for those big trees, I've got a spare G13a engine any ideas how to attach a bar   ;D

I carry tools with me, but have better/bigger ones at home ;D ;)

And I carry a large bow saw under the backseat. It's got a 3 1/2' long blade and cuts through small to medium stuff pretty easily. I used to have a chainsaw, but after I moved into a house without a fireplace, it wasn't getting used regularly enough to stay in good working order, so I sold it figuring I would get a new one when I needed it...

The sammys fit between the trees snugly and this was one of their "fun little side trips", so I didn't want to mess it up or make it any easier for bigger rigs. I actually had to remove the passenger side mirror before I winched out, otherwise the tree would have taken it right off. The 2 guys in the sammys were very skeptical of my 3000# milemarker winch, and kept trying to figure out alternative ways of getting me out, but I showed them that it was more than capable for the task at hand...

It was really funny when after I got free, they were both in awe and wonder over my little winch and both kept saying "I gotta get me one of those!" LOL!  Even funnier was listening to them on the CB after we parted ways and they thought I wasn't in range anymore: "dude, I didn't think he was coming out of that hole", "I know! that little winch worked awesome!", "We gotta get a couple of those!"

LOL!!!!
