Zuk bogging
« on: August 01, 2007, 06:31:34 PM »
Heres the zuk in action last Sat.   8) It had the longest run in the first pass then any other trucks.  There was 3 classes playing in this pit,  Superstock 38" to 34" tires, stock 33" and down and the mini class.  38' was the longest run in SS, 36' was long in stock ( my 454 chevy w/33" boggers,  then  the Zuk hit the wall of mud at 38' and poped up on top  and dug for a finish |removethispart|@ 45' and change.   the 33" boggers were spinning good with the 1.3 turning 5500 rpms!!!  Might bog the zuk again this weekend in stock class!!! 8)[url]]http://http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s240/mudjockey/7-30-2007-24-1.jpg

So you spend 30 seconds in the mud pit and the next 6 days, 23 hours, 59 1/2 minutes cleaning it for the next time? That's alot of work with a pressure washer!!!

Only about an hour and a half with a pressure washer and the Whooptee was as good as new!!!!   8) 8)   Our 4x4 club hosted this in our new offroad park, with now consists of 2 mud pits and 2 very small rock piles.  Check us out |removethispart|@ wannarock.org   The sami now has a lockrite up front to go with the spool in the rear!!  Were going bogging again this sunday about 30 miles away!!!  I have to feed the BOGGERS while I can!!! ;D

The zuk went in the mud again sunday, it turned out to be a drag race.  Not good for the sami.  But I did use 5th gear, 100 feet in 7 seconds.  So after the bog I took a pass in the deep pit, I went 80' to where a big ford with 700hp and 44" boggers quit towing a boat.  Yes a boat,  after the bogg they had a race for time towing a 14' aluminum boat on a trailer through the mud. ;D ;D.  It was a kick!  I had mud squeezing through the floor of the sami 8) 8)  My 33"s were almost gone!  Kept turing around 5000 rpms the whole way!!!  Good times were had by all!!!
