Tranny or TC is wining??
« on: August 08, 2007, 05:48:08 AM »
Hey guys my tranny (5 speed) or my transfer case started wining a little this morning.  The fluid is full in both but should i worry about this.  The tranny shifts fine like before and so does the transfer case.  Should i be gettin ready to put a new tranny or TC in it?

I think it's common for the 5spds to get a whine in them, what gear do you hear it in? I wouldn't worry too much if it isn't severe.
