I have a 32/36 with manual choke,  it seems to be running rich, and  will load up bad between 3000 and 4000 rpms |removethispart|@ 4000 it runs down the road |removethispart|@55 top speed!!!  any input would be great.   Still has stock fuel pump and we are wondering if the power valve may be bad or plugged????

Are you using a fuel pressure regulator? Webers usually won't run right with more than 3 psi of pressure...
Also, if your carb is used or came from another engine, you may need to re-jet it.

Thanks for the tips,  and no I don't have a regulator on it yet.  And yeah this carb came off a 20R Toyota and we have wondered about jetting it but not sure where it should be?  I leaned it down again a couple days ago and it seemed to help, when pulling a hill you have to barely feed it pedal or it boggs! :(

You will almost certainly have to rejet. I thought that the Weber manual was online somewhere but a quick search only brings up the one for the later kit with the 32DGR carb. Link is below FWIW. I'm pretty certain that you don't need to change the pump for the downdraught carbs.

Not sure on rejetting (Probably better rejet) but you better start off with the regulator first. Otherwise rejetting won't solve the problem. You're most certainly flooding it. I paid $45.00 + tax roughtly for a holly brand at Autozone. I mounted it above the right side fender well since there was a threaded hole right there.
