Manual Hubs to Automoatic hubs? 95 Sidekick

anyone go from manual hubs to automatic hubs??? how was it to change over?.. or should i just keep it simple and stay manual ?

Takes about 10 minutes to swap them over but the question of reliability is there as well. I don't see the point personally unless you may be one of those lazy types that don't want to get out to lock and unlock. Auto hubs are also alot more complicated to service as manuals... When they stick they make yer rig crappy on fuel and make parts wear too fast.
IMHO I would stay with the manual hubs and maintain em properly and never have a problem.

Keep it simple, and have your passenger engage/disengage the hubs manually.

LOL, YOU say that ... I'm now waiting for the time you have your wife get out and lock hubs  ;D
Plus, didn't your hubs "mysteriously" unlock last run  ::) ...

That said, I'll be swapping in a set of manuals in my next rig, but never ever had a prob with the auto hubs I've been running either.
