Another Tire Size ?
« on: August 16, 2007, 04:15:07 PM »
Hi I recently had the calmini 3" body lift installed and I'm still running on my little 215/75/ 15's. I want to go bigger but with hardly any, or NO rubbing at all. A little rubbing, but still drivable would be okay. Any help is greatly appreciated. by the way it's a 96 4-door JX. Thanks.

If you added a 1.5" or 2" spacer lift you would be able to clear 245/75's or 30/10.5's. I run the same, 3" body and 2" spacers and run 31/11.5/16's on my 97 4dr. Sport. I've cut the fenders a little and use 1.5" wheel spacers also. You could get by w/o the wheel spacers with 30" or the 245's. If you are interested in coil spacers let me know. Also if you want to see pics of my 97 send me your email to:hoepkers|removethispart|@charter.net, I can't post pics on here!! My program that resizes the pics is not compatable with Vista.

Cool, I'd definatley like to do the coil spacers when I get a chance to. But even if I didn't, not that I don't want to, I could fit 30-9.50-15's with just the 3" body lift? How much rubbing would there be when turning? I'm not to worried about the back, I don't ever really flex it all the way out. Reason is my brother's trying to sell his that he had on his Cherokee, and I really want to get them before he sells. And my email is owatkinsjr|removethispart|@nexet.net. I can't upload pics of mine on here either.

31 s will fit no problem other than a little trimming on the plastic bumper in the front no big deal actually and it makes it look better when done. i have 34s on mine with a 3in body and 2in coil spacers.
