it was so sweet.

ok i test drove 2 gv's today the first was a 2004 gv 5spd with only 24thou km. i love this truck so much, the dash layout and the steering wheel, the seats were the best i have seen in a vehicle like this. and the ride was nice.  the second was a 2000 gv and all the same toy's it had 107 thous km and what a piece of caca it was. the a/c did not work ( something that i was told is common) and when we turned out of the dealer lot it made this god awful unbinding noise in the front end and then it just kept making a smashing noise . the dealer said it needed an alignment and it would be ok........ i said no thanks but have a good day.

even tho the second had issues they are a really nice little truck to drive. and the power is quite inspiring ..... why the heck is it that these people on the road never put the pedal down the thing does not use that much gas.  anyways the 04 is a little out of the budget....double but the search is still on ..

ok the safa continues with search for a gv. what is with all these ontario people and there auto box v6's !!!! out of literally 23  gv's there are only 4 and one is too pricey for me. i test drove another one today and i tell ya some people altho very nice scare me. 2001 with 135 km pretty clean with some weird stains on headliner one major scratch from a wall but only on plastics. clean engine but not just cleaned so a good sign. start it up and rattling heat sheild no biggy.....ABS light on. i ask how long that has been there......3 years. i ask does it even work still " i dunno " so any way test drive time.  release parking brake and parking brake light stays on and then owner shows me how to wiggle the keys too get that light off??? how do you sell a car in the same price range with other truck having this type of problems. so the only other issue is dead shocks......i hate electrical problems so now 4 hour drive to ottawa??
don't know yet. that 2004 was still the best...

I agree with the owners comment. I just picked up a 2001 XL7 and the owner did not even attempt to vacuum the interior??? Some others were even worse! One guy had just finished taking his wet dogs for a ride and then proceeded to tell me the interior was mint?
