Hi to all,

Does anyone know the weight of a complete (stock) rear axle of a Sidekick 1.6 ?

Or even some of the parts that are included, like rear breaks, axle housing.

Not much at all, the housing is only 11 gauge steel tubing, I can pick one up with one finger LOL, the backing plates are not that much either, ok just went out and weighed one for ya with the plates and brake lines parking cable and a heavy diff guard(sorry) was 50 lbs.
1987,1988,1988,1990 samurai's,  1953 m38a1,  1996 x-90,blue.1996 x-90 red.1994 2 door tracker.   only Dead Fish go with the flow.                No Hairy Nosed Wombats were ran over on the trail today.       My ZUK is Xenophobic.

Thanks a lot mrfuelish!!!

I'm just into calculating sprung and unsprung weights in order to make the ride more comfortable.

I'll let you know, if I come up to something...
