New Door Handles--Easy to Replace?
« on: August 24, 2007, 01:02:24 PM »
I just ordered my Putnam hitch and replacement interior door handles for my 95 2-door. The current handles are fine, but they're faded.

Is it a big deal replacing the handles? And keep in mind that I'm a total spaz.

Total.

o ya...they are simple....1 philips head screw in the middle and then they slide forward and unlock.....the hardest part is the little plastic lock, it slides off of the release rod, i used a small flat screwdriver to slide it off, and then the release rod comes off the top, this is pretty tight in there, but if ya open the lever while your messin with the rod it spaces it out a bit so its easier
