can anyone tell me if the bonz shackles have a welded crossmember? and if the bolts are long enough to fit a couple washers on the inside.

Looks like it! (pic from Trail Tough's site)

Trail Tough's heavy duty shackles are designed to replace the light duty OEM shackles.  They are 3/4" longer than stock.  Their innovative shape allows the rear springs to fully droop without having to trim the factory shackle stops from the frame.

Stock Application
Item #SBS-300    Price $40.00 pair
Wrangler Spring Application
Item #SBS-301    Price $44.00 pair

These shackles are made from 3/8" thick side plates with a welded center piece for superior strength.

1 3/4" extended
Item #SBS-302 Price $46.00 pair

YJ to Samurai
Item #SBS-303 Price $69.00 pair

Hope this helps, Eric
