My rear wiper gave out the other day.  Took it apart today and the motor works when the button is pressed, just the wiper will not wipe.  The arm connecting the motor and wiper appears to jam.

I noticed that there is a 3/8 – ½ play in the wiper arm shaft when I push and pull it from the door.  On the inside of the door there is a white plastic piece (2â€? x 2 ½â€?) that connects the wiper motor arm to the wiper.  I am assuming that is supposed to be attached to the inside of the door, but it rotates with the wiper shaft.

Anyone have this sort of problem?
