Actually a supercharger (Belt Driven) makes the same amount of boost at all
RPM speeds and will give you the low end better than a turbo. BUT a supercharger
can only boost to about 4-5 PSI on a street basis or the seals overheat and boost
gets weak, a turbo on the other hand has no seals to get hot and can boost 10 to
20 PSI on a continous basis, proper matching of size will give you less lag and be
very effective off road.
