Does anyone have an opinion on where to put these spacers, transfer case or axle ?

Mine is at the axle.  Gives me no issues.

I did the axle as well.   It's taken a few hits but never had any issues.  Make sure your spacer isn't to long or you will do damage to your transfer case mounts.  :)

I placed mine at the axle end on my Tracker, but that is the only place that I could put it due to the slip joint at the t-case end.  Here is a link to what I did.
