Fresh pics of my Sidekick...lots of changes!
« on: October 08, 2007, 08:37:58 PM »
I've had my Sidekick for almost a year now...and my if it hasn't changed alot!
This is it when I brought her home:

Then about a month later I put Digger's 1.5" lift on and some 235/75R15's.

Me and my brother in law made some skid plates

Me and my brother painted my rims black

I did Gen-Erix's "t-shirt mod" minus the t-shirt with these JVC 6x9's I got for free from my boss

I had a 2" cat-back exhaust made up with a Cherry Bomb Glasspack muffler. I also put in a new radiator.

Me and my friend cut out the rocker panels and welded in steel 2x4 rock sliders. A much needed upgrade!

Dented my front fender... >:(

Removed front and rear bumper covers, put on Sky's 2" body lift, 30x9.5 Bridgestone Dueler A/T's, and F-150 rims with enlarged center holes

And that's how she stands! It's been so much fun working on this thing and wheeling this thing. Hope it lasts for years to come! ;D

Looking good
But you might want to trim those rock sliders back a wee bit.
3"inches up front and 2"inches in the rear if you plan on putting on Bigger tires.

Looks good.  Those skids look like green calmini skids.  Good job.  The exhaust looks neat, but it must be a fair bit louder.

I don't plan on moving up to bigger tires just yet...after all, I only just got these on a week ago!

The exhaust is indeed louder than stock, but I like it that way.

Might be taking it for a trail run tomorrow so we'll see how she does.

Looks great! I'd definitely like to know some more about the rocker mod, mine could use some help and your answer sounds like the ticket  8)

looks good.  I removed my front bumper cover on my 94 sidekick due to damage and liked what was hidden underneath.  Was looking at the rear cover the other day and wondering.  Your pics show me whats there and I can't wait to do some more plastic recycling.
