If you watch very closely, you can see they rear gate collapse inward a split second after he impacts the ground, so yes, it pretty much did implode.

In the dunes out near Behind the Rocks I got about 15 feet or so at about 30mph. just wish my buddy had held for the shot a second later.  Makes me want to invest in a roll cage.
