If you had $500 dollars (right now) to spend on a stock TrackVit what would you do to it.
I'm thinking a set of A/Ts

Does Heather and Nate's lift kit cost that much?
And ok I am new to this.... what fluids enhance trail worthiness? And since you this newbie is still learning, I know about positraction, lockers, but whats a mini spool do for you?  I am really pleased to hear you can get used 31's for that cheap.  ::)  That moves my modification time table up. ;D

No spool in this DD, it's an "04 Tracker.
When I do lift it I'm going with a body lift and no suspention mods what so ever. I had some VERY BAD experiences with my "97 after miner suspention mods.

I got five 32x11.50's today (mounted on 5x5.5 rims) for $50 ... if you scrounge, you can find deals on tires/wheels.

sry ... had to ask.

some want pavement princess, some want a capable wheeler (and/or prepared for body damage).

what kinda probs? ... spacers and body lift get bigger tires. Lockers make it unstoppable. I've not had any probs with my spacers for cheapo suspension lift. I'm looking to get cheapo spring replacements ... but not *needing* them really.

Your initial $500 question is limiting due to the cost aspect (and I usually figure all costs). If you don't count tires, I guess I'd suggest OME springs, a BL, and ez-locker in the rear.

(It's fun to spend other peoples money :) )

just a correction 5x5.5 means the bolt patteren which would be nessercary to fit on your kick no matter what size the rim. Unless you got a 5 inch tall rim with a 5.5 wide.

The radio may be "XM Ready" but you still need a frequency modulator box to decipher the satellite signal.
