Nice looking set of vehicles.  You need a locker in the rear of that Chevy though.  :)

Thanks for the compliments guys... the sammy was stuck... but half of that stuff out there is like quick sand....

and the chevy has a limited slip.... on tire was on solid mud and the other was in the wet soft soft sand...

but this next week if I have enough time I will be putting in my yukon 4.88s and the detroit trutrac lsd

after I hi-lift jacked my truck and put bark in front of my tires it came out easier than anything I have ever dealt with.... (been stuck real bad 4-5 times in my truck) (but I guess if you dont get stuck your not goin hard enough)

and then we just got a longer strap and the sammy came out easier than anything as well once I had the traction of regular sand instead of sinky sand

oh yeah..... the sammy all of a sudden had no power and wasnt working when it was stuck in a river (because I pulled it to a point where it would have gotten out before I got my chevy stuck)

had no idea what the hell happened to it, towed it home by a recoverey strap and put it in the garage.... and all it was was a damn blown fuse right off of the battery.... is that a re-occuring problem among your guys'? I have never really dealt with samurais until recently so I would have no idea

If its not broken, break it

Do you have lower gears in it yet?  You might simply be out of power.  Some 4.8 or lower gears in the transfer case might help it out.

I bought it recently and it was like this..... the guy stated it has 4.57 but I dont know if he is lying or not.... this week I will be throwing 4.88s in my truck so after I get better maybe I can go steeper in the sammy

Couldn't tell from the pictures but are the Sami's springs on top of or under the axles?
Also you might consider lower t-case gearing.  Sami's have high range reduction as well as low range so it makes it a better driver in 2wd and 4hi as well as low range.

Might want to consider a locker instead of another limited slip for your Silverado.  Lotta money to spend for not a whole lotta change if you put another limited slip in there.
