hagen widening + front locker

hagen widening + front locker

Anyone running a hagen widening and a front locker?

I'm wondering how much harder the steering gets with the increased castor combined with a front locker.

with my hubs locked, and the front lockrite, without the mod it can take some mustle sometimes to get my front tires to turn.

just wondering if it gets worse or tolerable still.

It's still tolorable, I tend to run it in 2 lo until I need more traction then into 4wd.

94 purple/green splash tracker w/ calmini 3' heavly modified lift 32 11.5 r15 bfg m/t's  & custom air induction and header w/ 2"exh. no cat lockrite rear 2" B/L and a heavy right foot and now 583s steel up front and locked.
2002 GV 2.5l 4.5 ZN lift locked on 31's

I've done the Hagen front mod, but my locker is an ARB, so steering is a non issue. I just unlock when I need to.

yea ... I kinda have a problem with lockers costing more than the total investment in the rest of the rig ;)

but, I would like ARB front/rear too.

 I guess I just paid too much for mine. But it is in nice shape!
