2000 tracker lift mixed emotions
« on: November 16, 2007, 04:43:38 AM »
anyone have any experience with the low range off road 1.5 spacer kit? I am thinking of doing something like this with a 2 inch body lift on my 2000 tracker. It is mainly a daily driver for the wife. I have a 93 for most trail duty(rocksteady, locked, etc). The newer body style seems to have smaller wheel wells and it looks as if it will be harder to fit a decent sized tire. I would settle for a 29-30 if I had to but I dont really enjoy the appearence of the width on any of the metric sizes. I have not seen any other lifted trackers with the look I am going for. Im lost! Help! Maybe I should settle for metric size and call it good? Open to most options

Check out Dave Jones website, he has built a 2nd gen Suzuki with spacers and a body lift. IIRC he is running 31s

Edit: I just had a look, he's running 1.5" lift springs as well and has done some trimming.

thanks for the input. I have done some looking at readers rigs etc.and checked out the site listed. I think I have decided to go with the spacers and 2 inch BL. I should be able to run a 30 x 9.5 on my factory rims for winter and in the spring I will purchase a wheel and tire combo. I will post pictures when it is done, should look pretty damn cool yet be functional.
