94 tracker 8v When started cold the truck idles really high then when it warms up it just sits there and surges and wont stop. Any ideas?

Common problem on the 8v. Every late fall to early winter new topics pop up about it. It doesn't go away once the engine is warmed up? Usually it does go away once it's warmed up unless it's really cold outside. I don't remember the fix right at the moment, but I do know there have been many, many other topics about it. I'm sure there will be lots of useful info if you did a search on surging idle...
