Webber Carb = No Idle
« on: November 26, 2007, 06:59:10 PM »
Well my samurai has a webber carb on it... but it takes FOREVER to finally warm up enough to idle... but now when it even gets to that point it just barley idles and sounds like it is almost to the point it wants to die on me...

that is the only I dont like about my sammy.... otherwise I love it

should I get a manual choke for it?

are those hard to install?

what are my other options?

Thanks guys,
Nolan

Nolan,

I am looking to buy a Weber as we speak.... Is yours a electric or H20 choke... Plus is it a 34/34 or 32/36 model?

There's a pretty good article on adjusting a weber for proper idle at izook.com.  It's easier to find by doing a search for weber at Ack's FAQ (see link in signature).

Hope that this helps!
