Shocks. Again
« on: November 08, 2004, 01:49:40 PM »
Okay. just to let you all know I did search under.
Shocks.
Crown Vic shocks.
and found nothing.
The question is.
What year Vic for shocks that fit the SideKick with the 3"inch lift?
I'm starting to think the search only goes back so far.

I did it!!!..I bored out the Jeep TJ 2" spacers, used 91 Crown VIc. Monroe shocks. The back was easy...

So from what I also read was anywhere between 91 and 99 Crown Vic shocks.

I guess I speed read too fast.
I just skipped everything in the middle ;D

So how much do Crown Vic shocks generally run? This seems like an interesting mod to try out with the rest of my smooth-riding tweaks (all stolen from other people, of course ;D)

Does anyone have measurements of the Crown Vic shocks compared to the Calmini 3" shocks?

I've never used a Calmini shock
I built my lift before Calmini offered
one for the kick, I called them and
asked about lifts (when they were here
in riverside), I was told there weren't enough
of these SideKicks to build a lift for, I may
have been the one that got them thinking
about lifts for the Track/Kicks  :o

When I looked at them today (Vics shocks) they looked too short for a lifted Tracker.

Damn.

What's a good, soft replacement for the Calmini shocks?
