i need new lower ball joints and drivers side front hub assembly for my 01 xl-7

Your ball joints are integrated into the lower control arms.  The are non-removable in the factory form.
Try eBay and some of the larger wholesale auto salvage places.  I got a set off of eBay for about $90 for both in good shape.  Make sure the ball joint boots aren't torn when you buy them and if you buy them over the phone or internet make sure they have a return policy if they are torn.


www.RockAuto.com has good prices on parts.  You should be able to find a cv-shaft there.
